Great experience during a tough time. Our deck started just as shut downs began with covid-19. HHI was able to complete the project quick with superior work for us to enjoy for the summer. Eric arrived very promptly to see the proposed work and give us the estimate; he made it clear from the beginning that the top of the decking had to be removed before they could see enough of the structure to know fully what work would be needed (very understandable considering the age and state it was in.)
Eric did an excellent job communicating work/cost estimates at this beginning stage, as the work progressed and gave us cost saving options. He presented alternatives and let us make the decisions as to how we wanted to proceed whenever this was appropriate; he did a great job incorporating all our requests. We feel the total cost was very fair and commensurate with the work done.
The project was completed very much as we requested and exceeded our expectations. Eric also followed up to make certain we were satisfied with all the work (which we are!) The workmanship is excellent; we are very happy with the results and would definitely hire Hedges Home Improvements again.
Everyone involved was very professional, pleasant, polite and easy to work with. They make it clear they care about the work they do and make customer satisfaction a high priority. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Comments: I needed a complete new porch, which meant the old one had to be torn down. It came down saftly and in a timely manner and the crew worked long hours in the cold to complete all they could each day until waiting upon inspections. Very respectful and caring & my finished project turned out great.There were a couple of things that came to my attention & they were fast to respond and at no extra cost to make sure the project was complete in its best.They cleaned up very well and soon I will be having them install my new front door. Very easy to work with. A solid contractor that seems to be harder and harder to find.

Comments: I hired Hedges Home Improvement to clean and paint my front and back decks. Mr. Hedges and his son came out looked over the decks and what needed to be done and e mailed me an estimate the next day. I thought the price was very fair, which included the paint. They did a great job even with a bunch of rain delays. They even came back out and touched up some places that needed more paint as it bled through. Very nice people to work with and made sure I was happy with everything. Would recommend them very highly.
